That's it, that's all for 5th and 8th grades...Friday is the last day of school in Fairfax County.  It has been one of our most challenging years yet-which is quite impressive if you've been close to us the past few years. Never did I think my special boy would be thriving as much as he is.  And never did I think my dependable oldest child who had unlimited potential would be in the fight of her life, and I would feel as if I was losing her.  But every once in a while you get notes like these and it gives you something every Mother needs...HOPE. (On Patrol) Eman is doing a great job-he takes the job very seriously and it is impressive to see the changes he has made.  You should be very proud, both Annie and Eman are wonderful athletes but more importantly, wonderful individuals.  As always, it’s a work in progress AND it truly does take a village!  Have a great summer.   Kathy Roche-PE teacher     Eman seemed to sort of grab the reins all by ...

No more suffering, no more hunger...We will remember you always Alexander.  The hole and loss is unimaginable.  Thank you for my children.

We are I'm Oklahoma for a reunion of kids who were in the orphanage the same time As A&E. This year there are 25 of us, 5 families, 13 Liberians, 4 siblings, 7 mothers, and 1 Grandma. Oh yea they are still all unbelievable athletes

 Great to be back with all my kiddos. And each flight was on time!
