    Bless you for this blog! It keeps me laughing everyday. This was great as we, too, are struggling through the "lost in translation" phase of our children!!! When in doubt, I just add an 'O' to the word I'm using...i.e., car-o, drink-o, dog-o...etc.!! LOL!

    I did not find the first part of your list strange or funny because having taught English in German schools for 23 years, know that most people who learn English outside the USA, learn it with a strong British infuence, so these words seem normal to me. But the "Where's Mommy at" really tickled me, because it is part of children's universal language, and who knows, Sue might also be hearing "Where's Daddy at?" with the same meaning.

    Still love your blog! I think it must have to do with having more than 2 children. I get the "I see they got some -- I want some too" syndrome. I have started asking "why do you want it?" As in "Are you really hungry/thirsty/whatever or you just following the crowd?"

    Besides chiclet, we also used 'vaseline' for petroleum jelly and 'cutex' for any brand of polish remover.

Bedtime

Abegail had a tooth pulled yesterday...so we told her to put her tooth under her pillow and the tooth fairy might come to take it and leave her some money. She was SUPER curious about the tooth fairy all day. Question after question..."Daddy, what does the tooth fairy look like? What will happen if I wake up while she's there?" Then after about the 15th question, I realized it was probably a bad idea to even mention the tooth fairy. By 8:30 last night, EVERY child was scared to go to bed because they were terrified of the tooth fairy creeping into their room while they were sleeping!! Abegail put the tooth under her pillow and then refused to sleep in her bed. She wanted to sleep on the floor...and then so did the other two. First Day of School

Today is Abegail's first day of school !!! And like our parents did for us...we made the kids pose for pictures! Unfortunately I wasn't able to take a picture in focus until the bus arrived. Oh well, Annie was picking her nose anyway. Abegail got onto the bus like a real pro!! She was soooo excited! As you can see...Annie and E-Man were skeptical. Frankly, E-Man was quite concerned.

Annie makes Travel Soccer

Annie made the FPYC travel Soccer Team!  It is the same club as Eman.  (so yes Eman you will have the same uniform.)  She was so excited she said, "my face hurts from smiling so much!"  Then she said, "I haven't been this happy since I was 6!"  She has her All Star Tournament for her current team this weekend. Then on to joining A&E in Travel!
