Potty Power

The kids were in the bath tonight and Abegail started singing a song from Annie's video, "Potty Power." Here are the words she is singing:
What do you like to do
When you are sitting on the potty?
When you're sitting on the potty for a while?
There's a lot of things to do
That will make you happy too.
Sitting on the potty.


This song is already kind of funny...but it is absolutely hilarious with a Liberian accent!! Also funny with the Liberian accents are Barney songs ("Clean-up, everybody do your share" and "I love you, you love me").

    What is it with these potty songs that stick in your head forever. My oldest had an old video that NONE of the other kids remember. So they kind of think I have lost my noggin when I sing "She's a super dooper pooper!" I wonder how that sounds with a Liberian accent.

    Akins Junior loves this video he wants to watch it over and over again and says "Eman pours water over Abegail's head" he is even startig to sing along! Too funny!

Abegail had a tooth pulled yesterday...so we told her to put her tooth under her pillow and the tooth fairy might come to take it and leave her some money. She was SUPER curious about the tooth fairy all day. Question after question..."Daddy, what does the tooth fairy look like? What will happen if I wake up while she's there?" Then after about the 15th question, I realized it was probably a bad idea to even mention the tooth fairy. By 8:30 last night, EVERY child was scared to go to bed because they were terrified of the tooth fairy creeping into their room while they were sleeping!! First Day of School

Today is Abegail's first day of school !!! And like our parents did for us...we made the kids pose for pictures! Unfortunately I wasn't able to take a picture in focus until the bus arrived. Oh well, Annie was picking her nose anyway. Abegail got onto the bus like a real pro!! She was soooo excited! As you can see...Annie and E-Man were skeptical. Frankly, E-Man was quite concerned.

Annie makes Travel Soccer

Annie made the FPYC travel Soccer Team!  It is the same club as Eman.  (so yes Eman you will have the same uniform.)  She was so excited she said, "my face hurts from smiling so much!"  Then she said, "I haven't been this happy since I was 6!"  She has her All Star Tournament for her current team this weekend. Then on to joining A&E in Travel!
