Little Miss Sunshine



The last picture is a drawing Abegail made for me after a day I wasn't pleased with her. Click on it to see it enlarged. Emmanuel is really struggling with his medication and she gives him no leeway. I was very touched by this and so proud of her.

Yesterday I took E-man by himself to the grocery store as a reward because he had three good days at daycare. He was so out of sorts. By the time we walked out of the store he was just sobbing - pathetic sobbing, not a temper tantrum. More like a woman with really bad PMS who can't take it anymore. There was a woman, about 85 or 90, walking with her cane in the store and she looked at him and said, "honey, what's the matter?" I thought, lady it would take me the rest of your time on earth to tell you!

Bedtime

Abegail had a tooth pulled yesterday...so we told her to put her tooth under her pillow and the tooth fairy might come to take it and leave her some money. She was SUPER curious about the tooth fairy all day. Question after question..."Daddy, what does the tooth fairy look like? What will happen if I wake up while she's there?" Then after about the 15th question, I realized it was probably a bad idea to even mention the tooth fairy. By 8:30 last night, EVERY child was scared to go to bed because they were terrified of the tooth fairy creeping into their room while they were sleeping!! Abegail put the tooth under her pillow and then refused to sleep in her bed. She wanted to sleep on the floor...and then so did the other two. An hour and a half later, I walked into their room and A & E were asleep in E-Man's bed with the blanket pulled up over their heads. And Annie had sneaked away to HER bed. First Day of School

Today is Abegail's first day of school !!! And like our parents did for us...we made the kids pose for pictures! Unfortunately I wasn't able to take a picture in focus until the bus arrived. Oh well, Annie was picking her nose anyway. Abegail got onto the bus like a real pro!! She was soooo excited! As you can see...Annie and E-Man were skeptical. Frankly, E-Man was quite concerned.

Annie makes Travel Soccer

Annie made the FPYC travel Soccer Team!  It is the same club as Eman.  (so yes Eman you will have the same uniform.)  She was so excited she said, "my face hurts from smiling so much!"  Then she said, "I haven't been this happy since I was 6!"  She has her All Star Tournament for her current team this weekend. Then on to joining A&E in Travel!
