Haley Time

One of our favorite friends, Haley, is moving to California on Tuesday. We've been trying to spend lots of time with her. She is a great friend to Annie and Abegail but it is Emmanuel who I think is most heartbroken. He adores Haley and makes sure she knows it. Haley is so kind and patient with him. Yesterday we went to a park in Bloomington and had a blast.




School Time

Annie had her open house at preschool yesterday. She met her teacher and saw her classroom. She is very excited to go to school like the big kids. Plus she's going with our neighbor and Emmanuel's other favorite friend, Jane. She came home and said, "Mommy, I'm a big kid now, I'm going to school." Mommy on the other hand is trying to keep it all straight, three kids, four schools (E-man has two) and one night with two orientations. I thought I was in shock getting Abegail ready! I'm swimming in paperwork and am sure I have missed something. I guess we'll find out soon enough!

Bedtime

Abegail had a tooth pulled yesterday...so we told her to put her tooth under her pillow and the tooth fairy might come to take it and leave her some money. She was SUPER curious about the tooth fairy all day. Question after question..."Daddy, what does the tooth fairy look like? What will happen if I wake up while she's there?" Then after about the 15th question, I realized it was probably a bad idea to even mention the tooth fairy. By 8:30 last night, EVERY child was scared to go to bed because they were terrified of the tooth fairy creeping into their room while they were sleeping!! Abegail put the tooth under her pillow and then refused to sleep in her bed. She wanted to sleep on the floor...and then so did the other two. An hour and a half later, I walked into their room and A & E were asleep in E-Man's bed with the blanket pulled up over their heads. And Annie had sneaked away to HER bed. First Day of School

Today is Abegail's first day of school !!! And like our parents did for us...we made the kids pose for pictures! Unfortunately I wasn't able to take a picture in focus until the bus arrived. Oh well, Annie was picking her nose anyway. Abegail got onto the bus like a real pro!! She was soooo excited! As you can see...Annie and E-Man were skeptical. Frankly, E-Man was quite concerned.

Annie makes Travel Soccer

Annie made the FPYC travel Soccer Team!  It is the same club as Eman.  (so yes Eman you will have the same uniform.)  She was so excited she said, "my face hurts from smiling so much!"  Then she said, "I haven't been this happy since I was 6!"  She has her All Star Tournament for her current team this weekend. Then on to joining A&E in Travel!
