Back To School

Abegail is officially back to school, the weather is turning colder, tomorrow a high of only in the 60's. Annie keeps asking me if it's fall, I keep saying...noooooo..not yet, well maybe pretty soon. Annie went to E-man's school with him today because Daddy was taking a class, so all the kids felt they were part of the action. Annie officially starts preschool next Monday.

Abegail gets home, she seemed to have a great day! E-man and Abegail willingly hug when she gets home! My nephews (Falls Church, VA) started school today too! Coach Daddy
A couple weeks ago I asked Scott if he'd be interested in coaching E-man's soccer team on Sundays. He said, "sure." Although I did ask it kind of like, would you like mustard or mayonnaise? But guess what? He's the coach! When I told him, he got very nervous. What if I screw up?? Um, Scott these are five year olds, they are not expecting you to win the World Cup against Great Britain. I think its more you make sure everyone has a turn and you coordinate snack. Now he's really scared!

Bedtime

Abegail had a tooth pulled yesterday...so we told her to put her tooth under her pillow and the tooth fairy might come to take it and leave her some money. She was SUPER curious about the tooth fairy all day. Question after question..."Daddy, what does the tooth fairy look like? What will happen if I wake up while she's there?" Then after about the 15th question, I realized it was probably a bad idea to even mention the tooth fairy. By 8:30 last night, EVERY child was scared to go to bed because they were terrified of the tooth fairy creeping into their room while they were sleeping!! Abegail put the tooth under her pillow and then refused to sleep in her bed. She wanted to sleep on the floor...and then so did the other two. First Day of School

Today is Abegail's first day of school !!! And like our parents did for us...we made the kids pose for pictures! Unfortunately I wasn't able to take a picture in focus until the bus arrived. Oh well, Annie was picking her nose anyway. Abegail got onto the bus like a real pro!! She was soooo excited! As you can see...Annie and E-Man were skeptical. Frankly, E-Man was quite concerned.

Annie makes Travel Soccer

Annie made the FPYC travel Soccer Team!  It is the same club as Eman.  (so yes Eman you will have the same uniform.)  She was so excited she said, "my face hurts from smiling so much!"  Then she said, "I haven't been this happy since I was 6!"  She has her All Star Tournament for her current team this weekend. Then on to joining A&E in Travel!
