Baby Pictures


Abegail and Emmanuel have asked repeatedly if there are any baby pictures of them. So finally we asked Alexander if he had any. He said he didn't think so, at the time E-man was born they were moving out of Monrovia to get away from the violence. But he did manage to find two pictures. He sent them back with Karen who just returned home with two more children. They are small in real life, but the kids were thrilled. We made several copies to send back with a family going on a mission trip and the originals so the Davis family will still have them. The first picture is Emmanuel at age two, the second is Abegail's school ID at 2 1/2. She went to a school associated with the YMCA. It is fun to see what they looked like when they were younger.

M: Emmanuel we have to sign up for the next session of Y sports. Do you want to play basketball or soccer?
E: I want to play Tennis.
M: They don't have Tennis.
E: Then I want to play golf.
M: It's basketball or soccer, those are your choices.

Bedtime

Abegail had a tooth pulled yesterday...so we told her to put her tooth under her pillow and the tooth fairy might come to take it and leave her some money. She was SUPER curious about the tooth fairy all day. Question after question..."Daddy, what does the tooth fairy look like? What will happen if I wake up while she's there?" Then after about the 15th question, I realized it was probably a bad idea to even mention the tooth fairy. By 8:30 last night, EVERY child was scared to go to bed because they were terrified of the tooth fairy creeping into their room while they were sleeping!! Abegail put the tooth under her pillow and then refused to sleep in her bed. She wanted to sleep on the floor...and then so did the other two. An hour and a half later, I walked into their room and A & E were asleep in E-Man's bed with the blanket pulled up over their heads. And Annie had sneaked away to HER bed. First Day of School

Today is Abegail's first day of school !!! And like our parents did for us...we made the kids pose for pictures! Unfortunately I wasn't able to take a picture in focus until the bus arrived. Oh well, Annie was picking her nose anyway. Abegail got onto the bus like a real pro!! She was soooo excited! As you can see...Annie and E-Man were skeptical. Frankly, E-Man was quite concerned.

Annie makes Travel Soccer

Annie made the FPYC travel Soccer Team!  It is the same club as Eman.  (so yes Eman you will have the same uniform.)  She was so excited she said, "my face hurts from smiling so much!"  Then she said, "I haven't been this happy since I was 6!"  She has her All Star Tournament for her current team this weekend. Then on to joining A&E in Travel!
